continued to learn about focusing our attention using our eyes to watch and ears to listen in a easy sitting pose - “sukhasana.”
guessed what was inside a box - a zynergy bell. “If you hear my chime, it’s quiet time.” Children had to follow 3 rules - shake, listen & think.
played “I see you. You see me.” - a follow a leader game.
listened to “Greet the Sun” by Katie Johnston and practiced a series of yoga poses for a sun salutation: mountatin pose, hands raised pose, standing forward bend, plank pose, cobra pose, downward facing dog, frog pose and back into mountain pose.
shared our favorite yoga pose during our feedback session.
practiced a mindful breathing exercise to relax - “Sa-ta-na-ma” - 3 times out loud; 3 times whispered; 3 times quietly.
relaxed with our breathing buddies during our “do-nothing pose - savasana.”
and acknowledged our gratitude - "Namaste" - thank you; “I shine my light in you as you shine your light in me.”
