practiced being mindful by passing around a bell without ringing it.
rang the bell to focus our attention with our eyes and listen with our ears.
listened to a story called "Lucinda's Magical Yoga Adventure" by Betty Larrea.
incorporated yoga poses throughout the story and pretended to be a butterfly, flower, dog, cat, frog, tree, cobra snake, lion, bridge and a comfy cloud.
manipulated fidget spinners to continue our mindfulness practice.
shared our favorite yoga pose with our friends.
and acknowledged our gratitude - "Namaste" - I shine my light in you as you shine your light in me!
