Today we . . .

continued to connect our breath with movement to understand the meaning of yoga.

listened to a story called "We are Going on a Bear Hunt" by Michael Rosen & actively participated by performing the bear pose.

learned about "Belly Balloon Breathing" - breathe in our belly expands like a balloon - breathe out our belly deflates like a balloon.  

utilized a feather to help us deepen our understanding of our breathe, which helps us to relax.  

relaxed with our breathing buddies for 1 minute.  

expressed what we liked about yoga today as we passed around the love emoji pillow.  

and acknowledged our gratitude - "Namaste" - I shine my light in you as you shine your light in me!
