Today we . . .

continued our mindfulness practice - being present in the moment - right here, right now.  

played with a variety of wooden instruments while performing a “rain dance” - stomping our feet, rubbing our hands, drumming our legs and clapping our hands slow then fast and vice versa.  

learned three yoga poses - sun, star and tree pose.  

practiced the three yoga poses while dancing and listening to “Mr. Sun” by Raffi.  

engaged in a mindful breathing exercise - SaTaNaMa - 3x out loud - 3x whispered - 3x quietly.

relaxed with our breathing buddies during “savasana” - do-nothing pose.  

shared our last thoughts about what we loved about our yoga classes during our feedback session.

and acknowledged our gratitude for the last yoga class - "Namaste" - thank you; “I shine my light in you as you shine your light in me. Together we light up the sky.”
